PAMELA MCKELVIN-JEFFERSON

Pamela McKelvin-Jefferson is Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) at Columbia Business School. In her new position, Pamela is responsible for providing administrative leadership to advance DEI initiatives for the administration and staff, with a focus on creating a variety of strategic partnerships to promote a diverse and inclusive School.
Pamela most recently managed a portfolio of programs that served underrepresented and marginalized communities at CBS Executive Education. Prior to joining Columbia Business School, Pamela had opportunities to develop programming centered around multicultural and social justice education at NYU. Outside of CBS, Pamela continues to carry the charge forward for equity and opportunity, as she is the co-founder of a faith-based non-profit that partners with social service organizations to provide free counseling, job training, and college access preparation to communities in need. She also sits on the board of Her Village Inc., a Harlem-based non-profit that empowers mothers, trauma survivors, and other marginalized communities to thrive.
Pamela earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Metropolitan Studies, as well as her Master's degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs, from NYU.
